Welcome to Your Creative Connection; a bi-monthly creative showcase which comes to you on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday/Thursday of each month.  Your Creative Connection came together from a group of eight global friends wanting to give you a worldwide connection to creativity.  We hope to inspire you to connect with us as we share papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! products.  Each showcase will have a theme, and we will ‘travel’ around the world to connect with our creative friends.

This week's Your Creative Connection theme is TAG, YOU'RE IT!  This theme is the perfect opportunity to share the gifts that I created for my guests at the Hamilton Extravaganza last weekend.  Everyone at this fun, all-day crafting event loved receiving these cute goodie-bags, finished with a gift tag created with products from the Peony Garden Suite...

Bundles: Prized Peony Stamp Set + Peony Dies (cling: 154056).  Ink: Gray Granite (147008).  Card/Paper: Petal Pink (147009), Whisper White (106549), Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (152483).  Accessories: Gray Granite 1/2" Shimmer Ribbon (152463), Elegant Faceted Gem (152464).  Tools: Delightful Tag Topper Punch (149518), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430).

Winter has definitely arrived and along with it some chilly, wet, and windy weather, so I filled these printed cellophane bags with cold-weather treats... a hot chocolate sachet and Whittakers Dark Chocolate.  They were well received!  I secured the top with the gorgeous Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and attached a handmade tag.

The tag began as a 2" wide piece of Whisper White cardstock, which I punched the top with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch, and then the bottom received some Peony Garden Designer Series Paper treatment.  The pretty peony flower is a stamp from the Prized Peony stamp set, cut with the coordinating die from the Peony Dies.  Also from the Prized Peony stamp set are the sweet words, which were stamped in Gray Granite ink onto Petal Pink cardstock, and added to the front of the tag with a Petal Pink faceted gem.
